Prof Kun An was nominated for the "Shanghai Science and Technology Youth Leadership Program" award

On the evening of August 29, 2022, the second "Shanghai Science and Technology Youth 35 Leadership Program" award ceremony was held grandly, and the list of 35 winners and 15 nominated award winners was announced on the spot. Professor Kun An of the Magic research group was nominated for the award.

From the main economic battlefield, the country's major needs, people's life and health and other strategic directions, "Shanghai Science and Technology Youth 35 Leadership Program" select 35 winners and 15 nominees, aiming to explore more conducive to the evaluation and selection mechanism of young scientific and technological talents to stand out, cultivate and cultivate a group of young scientific and technological workers with global vision and innovative influence. The selection of the plan is guided by the Shanghai Municipal Talent Office, the Municipal Party Committee of Science and Technology Work, the Youth League Municipal Committee and the Municipal Youth Federation, and sponsored by the Municipal Association of Young Scientific and Technological Talents, and the criteria for the participants are no more than 35 years old, and must lead at least one scientific research, or lead the establishment of at least one science and technology enterprise.

Kun An, Professor, PhD Supervisor, College of Transportation Engineering, Tongji University, Vice President of Digital City Research Institute, High-level Overseas Youth Talent of the Central Organization Department. He received his Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a postdoctoral fellow from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was a lecturer and senior lecturer at Monash University in Australia (British system, and has passed the lifetime assessment). She has long been committed to the analysis and optimization of complex transportation networks, low-carbon smart travel and other key areas of transportation science and engineering research, has hosted and participated in more than 10 important scientific research projects in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Chinese mainland, the United States and Australia, published more than 30 high-level SCI academic papers, and participated in the compilation of 2 monographs, providing an important technical guarantee for breaking through the bottleneck of large-scale network dynamic collaborative scheduling and control technology of multi-mode public travel systems and the reliable operation of a new generation of low-carbon smart buses.
