Introduction

Dr. Chunhui Yu is a researcher at Tongji University. His main research field is intelligent connected traffic management and control. He has been selected into the National Young Talents Program, Shanghai "Oriental Talents Program" (Youth), and "Yangfan Program". He has presided over 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 60 papers in domestic and foreign journals and academic conferences such as Transportation Research Part B/C, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, and China Journal of Highway and Transport, among which 24 papers were published as first/corresponding author in top international journals with an impact factor of ≥ 5. He has participated in compiling 1 national standard, 1 group standard, and 1 industry application technical manual (as associate editor). He serves as Chairman of the Technical Committee for Intelligent Connected and Vehicle-Infrastructure Cooperative Control of the World Transport Convention (WTC), Member of the Autonomous Driving Working Committee of China Highway and Transportation Society, Guest Editor of Transportation Research Part A, etc. He has won awards including Provincial and Ministerial First Prize for Science and Technology, Youth Science and Technology Award of China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association, COTA Best Doctoral Dissertation Award (1st Place, with only 2 recipients worldwide each year), and TRB Best Paper Award.
