On November 10, 2020, Tongji University, entrusted by Shanghai urban and rural construction and Transportation Development Research Institute, completed the project of "Intelligent inflow control simulation and effect evaluation for on-ramp groups in expressway system". The project acceptance meeting was held in room 1202 of Shanghai Jianke building. Yu Chunhui, assistant researcher of Tongji University, Wang Kang, and He Ziliang, master students, reported the research results of the project, including traffic congestion prediction method of Expressway main line and intelligent inflow control method of on-ramp groups of expressway. The project and its result were highly praised by review experts and passed the acceptance smoothly.
