In September 2020, the 6th China International "Internet plus" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Shanghai was successfully held and concluded on the online platform. The team composed of Tuo Sun, Ruochen Hao, Zixuan Chen, Benwei Chen, Bei Chen, Jinjue Li and ZiLiang He, cooperated with the teams of Imperial College London, Temple University, Shenzhen University, under the guidance of Professor Wanjing Ma, participated in the competition with the project“the car road distributed traffic control edge computing devices in Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System”，which won the gold award in Shanghai Division.
C-V2X is the main development path of China's Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System, as well as an important direction of 5G application. Despite a great deal of infrastructure investment, there are many problems in the lack of specific application scenario and the low penetration rate, such as “invisible service and disable service”, the lack of effectively solutions of the highway transportation efficiency and driving security and other issues and the difficulty in a large-scale application of C - V2X technology.This project oriented the city road "traffic jams", by means of the “more meticulous traffic awareness", "more intelligent traffic control" and "more accurate diagnostic evaluation", provide a complete product system of cooperative vehicle infrastructure with a computing devices as the core, including cloud platform, roadside communication unit, vehicle auxiliary equipment, ray all-in-one driving road together for the traffic management department and intelligent transportation enterprises, which provides closed-loop service four dimensions from the design consulting, product supply, installation, maintenance, and data management, and at the same time to provide a "visible, useful" application for the ordinary social vehicles and connected automated vehicles.
