On November 21, 2020, the final of Shanghai University Students' traffic innovation competition was successfully held in Shanghai University of technology. The team composed of Hao Zhong and Kang Wang, members of the research group, participated in the competition with the project of "Multi-source data-driven prediction for the dynamic pickup demand of one-way carsharing systems", and finally won the third prize. The team composed of Lingjie Zou and etc., took part in the competition with the project of "Intelligent Rapid Responsibility Determination And Certificate Storage System For Traffic Accidents" and won the second prize.
Aiming at the imbalance of vehicle supply and demand in the current shared vehicle system, the project of "Multi-source data-driven prediction for the dynamic pickup demand of one-way carsharing systems" proposed a dynamic vehicle pickup demand prediction method based on the user's perspective, a demand prediction model was used to predict whether there is pickup demand in real time, and a demand time prediction model was used to predict the time when the car needs to be shared. The project can effectively guide the sharing vehicle system to optimize the dispatching strategies, meet the needs of users, and improve the system profits.
