At 10:00 am on December 31, 2020, Dr. Ruimin Ke of University of Washington was invited to give an academic report. The group meeting was successfully held in Room 436, Tongda Building, Tongji University, which was carried out concurrently through online platform.
The title of Dr. Ke’s report is “Real-Time Video Analytics Empowered by Machine Learning and Edge Computing for Smart Transportation Applications”. In this sharing, Dr. Ke introduced his research from three parts: smart infrastructure applications, intelligent vehicle video analytics and aerial sensing for road traffic. After the report, many members of MAGIC Lab raised questions and discussed together, which promoted academic exchanges. Participants in this report included Dr. Ruimin Ke, Professor Wanjing Ma, Assistant Professor Ling Wang, Assistant researcher Chunhui Yu, Research Assistant Bei Chen, and other members of MAGIC Lab.
