Recently, our school in accordance with the "Tongji University Outstanding Doctoral Master's Degree thesis Selection and Reward Method", carried out the selection of outstanding doctoral and master's degree thesis. Through the evaluation of each degree evaluation sub-committee organization, as a member of the MAGIC research group, Wan Lijuan's master's degree thesis "Research on Multi-period Signal Control at Intersections Based on Trajectory Data" was awarded " Tongji University Outstanding Master's Thesis ".
Wan Lijuan, a master's student in the College of Transportation Engineering of Tongji University, published 2 SCI papers during the three-year master's study, including the Transportation Research Part C journal, actively participated in academic exchange activities, won many honors such as national scholarships, outstanding masters, the first prize in the Smart City Technology and Creative Design Competition, and won the prize of Tongji University outstanding graduate last year. In view of the problems existing in the traditional traffic signal control method, her master's degree thesis proposes a multi-time signal control method at intersections based on trajectory data, and the experimental results show that this method can significantly reduce intersection delays and alleviate traffic congestion.
Wan Lijuan is currently studying for a PhD at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
